The signs on the Island spelled the town’s name MYKONOY. HTML hit counter - Quick-counter.net

We disembarked from the ship and walked a few blocks towards the town.

A few windmills dot the hills.  There is a lot of wind in the Greek Islands.  We didn’t see wheat fields so what did the windmills grind?  Minds?

I wonder how many centuries back men traveled in ships in the Mediterranean.  There is evidence that pre-humans used boats.

Blue domed churches are everywhere.  The Greeks get to enjoy this view every day.

Next came finding a taverna with a view of the harbor.

Our waitress came from Bulgaria and only worked in the summer.  We had a tray of mixed fruits of the sea:  Little fish the size of your little finger, calamari with tentacles – covered with batter, squid rings, octopus, shrimp, mussels – more than we could eat.  But we had help; see below.

Kittie knew he could “stare for food”.  Why “he”?  Orange cats are male.

We couldn’t believe how much he ate.

Paula bought a scarf.  I bought a replica Greek coin with Athena in a helmet.  Maybe I’ll gain some wisdom.

There were little stores on every block.  No Walmarts.

The trucks have to be small to drive up the tiny streets.

Here we have an old Greek, who looks like you’d expect old Greeks to look.  He was the only one we saw that looked like an old Greek.  I took this picture with 18X zoom to avoid tipping.

We never stopped to get Baklava.
