Grading Teachers and Principals Fairly
Correlate (multiple regression) with Achievement tests or graduation rates or multiple measures against school demographic survey data or US Census Data
o For each school select the surrounding census tracts either in the average radius or actual census tracts.
o Predict the reading and math scores for each school, based on their sociological factors. o If the school performance results exceed the forecast, reward the teachers and principal.
o If the school is below the forecast, look at the reasons for the poorer performance. |
