On the Beach at Club Med
| This is the patio outside the free drinks bar at Club Med,
Cancun, Mexico.
In the distance is the vacant Pink Hotel, The Premier. To get to
Cancun we would walk to the Pick hotel and then trough the grounds to the
street where would would get on R1, R2 or R15 to go to town. |
|
| The ocean water was warm, but below the water were one foot diameter stones. | |
| You never knew what to expect. | |
| Club Med provide water toys. Some are suggestive. | |
The pelicans would search for fish every evening. They flew like pterodactyls. They could glide for a hundred meters. I think they must have polarized eyes to detect the fish through the glare on the water. I also think pelicans' feet act like sonar sensors because the pelicans would be swimming and then fly up and reverse and catch a fish that had been behind them. |
